Instructions for Purtrex PX01-9-7/8 Sediment Water Filters (1 Case/40 Filters):

Install the Purtrex PX01-9-7/8 filter in a housing that uses 10" x 2.5" filters. The filter should be replaced when the flow rate of water is reduced. This means that the filter has filled up with sediment. The replacement frequency will depend on how often the water supply is used (i.e. how many gallons per day are run through the filter) and how much sediment is in the water. The more water that is used and the more sediment that is in the water; the more often the filter will need to be replaced.
